WHY I AM A PHOTOGRAPHER

Being a mother sparked my desire to take photos of my children. I want to remember every detail of the early days. How they slept soundly, their itsy-bitsy fingers that wraps around mine, the smell of their hair, but memories aren't enough.
I am a photographer that captures important moments.
I studied portraiture under Will Michels of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and film photography under Amy Blakemore at the Glassell School of Art, where I received a scholarship after my portfolio was chosen for an exhibition. I found my niche in digital newborn photography, once I had my first son, and have not looked back ever since.

I am a lifestyle photographer that loves to capture your newborn and family in the comfort of your home. Outdoor sessions can take place early morning or late sunset to help cope with the summer heat. I love to work with earth tone colors.
